Talmud Shiur and Discussion

1 hour before Shabbat Mincha in the Main Synagogue

Start at the beginning of the Tractate of Sanhedrin with special emphasis on reading the text together with Rashi and Tosafot. The Rabbi's inclusive style makes this a great way to participate in a classic Talmud Shiur.

Join us Shabbat afternoons for services and Seudah Shlishit and join our discussions on many interesting subjects including children's obligations to parents, parents' obligations to children, how to make your prayers more meaningful, Kavod and many others.

The "Out by 9:15am DEAL" (Daven Eat And Learn)
Sundays Throughout the Year in the OC Social Hall

Combine morning services (Shacharit) with a bit of learning and a shmear. Held on Sundays (unless other Program scheduled) throughout the year starting with 8am Shacharit, followed by Breakfast and Class on various array of Torah related subjects and you will be out by 9:15am. Lecturers will feature Rabbi Shmidman, Rabbi Motechin and Marty Kaufman among others.

Maimonides Guide to The Perplexed

An in depth lecture and discussion of the teachings of the RAMBAM. Particular emphasis on reviewing and understanding the RAMBAM’s biblical sources and interpretations.

Tuesday Nights 8 - 9 PM at the Rabbi's House

A review of the upcoming portion of the week in a very comfortable environment. Study of certain sections of Bamidbar and Devarim will also be included.

Explore the meaning of the Mishna, the intricacies of Jewish law and the depths of Jewish philosophy. The objective of this course is to dramatically expand our knowledge of critical areas while improving our ability to learn. Texts we study include the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, Mishna and Mesilat Yesharim.
